Powerful development tools in a rapid application development environment afford the opportunity to build exactly the GIS you want. GIS capability can be rolled out to a far greater audience than previously possible. We develop with ESRI's Map Objects and ArcView GIS. Map Objects is a perfect choice for creating highly focused, light, swift applications, or for embedding GIS capability in an existing application, such as a database or contact manager. ArcView GIS is an excellent choice for creating robust, stand-alone applications which require greater GIS capabilities. Please note that both Map Objects and ArcView GIS are internet ready, so your custom application can be as well.
	GIS Production We wish everyone had an industrial strength GIS department, full of all the best tools and a stable of highly skilled technicians. Luckily, you can rent ours! Companies can look to DSS to lend a helping hand for special projects, one-off maps and reports, or short-term staffing when the load gets too heavy. We can do the work that you don't want to perform in-house.
	Quick Start! Installation "Building" a GIS can be more daunting than actually using a GIS. We designed our Quick Start! program to address this issue. With Quick Start!, one of our GIS technicians comes to your site and builds your GIS for you. All software and data files are installed and organized. Links to internal systems and data resources are established. Basemaps and project templates are created. The basic goal is to enable the user produce results the very first time he or she sits down to work with the GIS.
	Geocoding/Spatial Processing Don't have $20,000 for a great geocoder? You can use ours! We use the best in the business, and our rates are surprisingly affordable. We also offer spatial processing services. We can "teach" your data all sorts of interesting things, such as inclusion within a trade area or other custom region, distance to shoreline, the name of the closest service center, neighborhood demographics, nearest competitor, and so forth.
	Retail network analysis Using a variety of data, including store, competitor, and customer locations; as well as demographics, road networks, traffic volumes, and land features, we can work up a full (or partial) analysis of your retail network. 	Territory creation/optimization All too often, sales territories are creating using the easiest possible definitions. Consideration should be paid to underlying market potential, competitive activity, workload per sales rep, customer locations, etc. A GIS allows you to resolve these and other realities to produce realistic, results-driven territories.
