DYNAMAP/2000...a complete basemap

GDT's flagship Dynamap/2000 database contains more than 14 million addressed street segments along with postal and census boundaries, landmarks, and water features.

To ensure accuracy and up-to-date completeness, GDT (Geographic Data Technology) incorporates more than one million changes every quarter. New streets, renamed highways, ZIP code revisions and other changes are updated quarterly. GDT uses a number of quality control techniques, including raster imagery, to verify new roads and improve the spatial accuracy of the data. As a result, GDT has the reputation for providing the highest integrity geographic databases available.

The database identifies more than 30 types of landmarks organized in logical themed layers, including railroads, airports, parks, recreational areas, transportation terminals, institutions (such as schools and hospitals), major retail centers, and water features. This high visual quality of these layers ensure that your maps will carry the credibility they require.

Dynamap/2000 also includes improved Census boundaries and the highest quality ZIP code boundaries available in the marketplace.

Available in quarterly, semi-annual, and annual releases, and in all GIS formats.

ZIP Code boundaries

ZIP Code boundaries and centroids are important building blocks for most business map systems. These features can be related to your internal data and third party demographic and business data. They can be used to thematically represent your data, or be combined into sales territories, trade areas, and other custom geographic components of your GIS.

Files are updated quarterly and are available in all GIS formats.

ZIP+4 Centroid

GDT's Dynamap/ZIP+4 Centroids lists every ZIP+4 in the United States along with its ZIP+4 and 5-Digit ZIP centroid coordinate and its corresponding Census Block. Because of its high degree of accuracy (ZIP+4 areas can be as small as one side of a single city block), this database is ideal for many thematic mapping applications, including mailing list examination; cluster and dot-density studies; market and micro-market analysis; and trend analysis.

Using this file, business analysts add precision to sales and market studies and gain the ability to analyze demographic and business data geographically at the ZIP+4 level.

Dynamap/Carrier Routes

Dynamap/Carrier Routes is a comprehensive database identifying the boundaries of all U.S. postal carrier routes for use in marketing, analysis and other business applications.

Dynamap/Carrier Routes contains more than 300,000 routes and includes both small city routes as well as large rural routes to provide the most complete information available. This information can be combined with demographics or user databases to provide a powerful micromarketing tool that allows users to visualize target market segments and identify routes that offer the best marketing potential.
